It provides median household income projections by household composition to 2009, 2014, and 2019. Projections are provided at a national level as well as for the 16 Regions.

The projections of household income are based on wage rate growth projections, which came from BERL’s Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model to 2019. Household projections by household type are based on Statistics New Zealand projections of households by type and region, but have been adjusted to account for differences between estimates and census counts.
