A profile on Porirua City for 2007, the report considered a range of short and long-term indicators of the City’s economic health. It looked in-depth at employment, GDP, labour productivity, business units, and business size growth in the City over a 10-year period.

The report also considered the importance of employment in various industries in the City relative to the national situation.

Finally, the report looked in detail at the changes in employment and business numbers within four key sectors in Porirua – retail, property and business services, manufacturing, and education.
