BERL Regional Performance Indicators

The regional economic index ranks each Territorial Authority on four base growth indicators:  population, employment, GDP and number of business.  Rankings are summed to provide an overall performance.  A top ranking on the BERL index requires positive achievements across all indicators reflecting broad-based economic performance.
