UK economy grows by 3% in year to June quarter '07

UK GDP rose by 0.8% in the June 2007 quarter, up from 0.7% in the March 2007 quarter.  GDP is now 3.0% up on the June 2006 quarter year.

Construction output is up 3.7% on the year, while household expenditure is up 2.6% and government expenditure is up 2.1%.  Employee compensation is up 3.6%.
