In the year to March 2005, the South Wairarapa recorded very strong growth. GDP growth, at 14.1 percent, was higher than New Zealand growth (3.8%). The longer-term performance remains solid, with the latest five-year period showing significantly stronger growth than the previous five-year outcome.
