This report contains a broad strategic assessment of the proposed Coastal Marine Institute and its potential to benefits to the Taranaki region. This report concluded that the impact of the Institute could be broad based, and relatively significant in terms of the overall magnitude of economic benefits. This is because the Institute has the potential to link closely into the existing strengths and features of the region.
