This report updates earlier work on industry and occupation forecasts.  Beginning from 2001 Census information, employment figures for 2003 and projections for 2006 and 2011 have been generated using BERL's computable general equilibrium model of the New Zealand economy. Externally sourced information on projections of export demand and productivity changes are also used as inputs to drive the model-based forecasts.
