2009 has been a good year for BERL. We’ve continued to grow in terms of staff, new business and new services. It has been hard work, but very satisfying.

While we are aware of our own efforts we are also cognizant of the tremendous importance of all of the clients, suppliers, friends and associates that have supported us this year.

It’s been a pleasure to work with you, and we want you to know that we appreciate you.

This year has not been good for everyone. Hence, we decided that—instead of individual cards or gifts – we’d give a bit of additional support back to New Zealand.

We’ve sponsored the Local Government New Zealand Conference, an Industry Training Federation Research Forum, the Wellington Festival of the Arts and—for Christmas—we’ll be making a donation to Women’s Refuge, and putting some presents under Te Papa’s Wishing Tree. We hope these gifts will brighten someone else’s year – the way you’ve brightened ours.

We hope 2009 was a good year for you, and that 2010 will be even better.
